A high-altitude route for experienced hikers, linking Bivacco Menabreaz (2546 m) to Col des Laures (3035 m) in the Valle centrale area near Brissogne. The route covers 4 km with 486 metres of ascent, but its EE rating reflects the nature of the terrain rather than the distance: sure-footedness, a head for heights and solid mountain orientation skills are all required. Above 2500 m the landscape is bare rock, possible late snow patches and open sky. Col des Laures at 3035 m commands wide views over the upper Valle centrale and surrounding ridges. Weather can change rapidly at this altitude; the viable season is typically July to late September.
