Arbolle Refuge
Situated at 2,507 meters on the shores of its namesake glacial lake, the Arbolle Refuge is a modern and welcoming stone-and-wood building opened in 1998. Nestled in a natural basin at the foot of Mount Emilius, it offers an extraordinary panorama taking in the main four-thousanders of the Alps. Easily reached from Pila via the Chamolé chairlift and a short panoramic trail, it is the ideal base for ascending Mount Emilius or Becca di Nona, as well as an excellent dining spot serving typical Aosta Valley cuisine.
