Graines - Cleva de Moulaz

The trail starts at Graines (1420 m), where a well-preserved medieval castle stands guard over the valley. The path climbs steadily through mixed forest and open alpine pastures, offering expanding views of the Val d'Ayas peaks. After gaining 814 metres over 5.1 km, the route reaches Cleva de Moulaz at 2235 m — a broad, quiet upland terrace with sweeping mountain panoramas. A demanding but rewarding itinerary for fit hikers.
