Vedun - Mont-Court de Bard

From Vedun (1519 m) in La Salle, Valdigne, a short but unrelenting climb of 3.3 km and 652 metres leads to the summit of Mont-Court de Bard at 2170 m. The trail, rated E, maintains a consistent gradient with little flat relief — grassy lower slopes giving way to open rocky terrain near the top. The reward is a commanding panorama: the Mont Blanc massif dominates the northwestern horizon, while the Vertosan basin opens to the east. The compact distance makes it manageable in half a day for fit hikers.
