GPX track — verify on the ground before hiking
Fitness level
A short but characterful link trail connecting the hamlets of Tilly (964 m) and Mayn (1058 m) in the lower Val d'Ayas. The cobbled mule track winds through ancient chestnut groves and terraced vineyards typical of this lower stretch of the valley. The gentle gradient makes it suitable for all ages and abilities, including families with young children. Stone fountains and restored rural buildings dot the route, bearing witness to a long agropastoral tradition. Fine views over the valley floor and wooded slopes opposite round off what is an ideal cultural stroll or connecting leg for longer itineraries. Walkable in all seasons.
